September 2014

I feel like this summer was a blur. I was sick for a good portion of the summer with this pregnancy, so we will just pick up in September, which was a fun filled busy BUSY month!

Shawn's last day of Rotations! Kanyin's new favorite game lately is listening to our heart and being the "doctor"

This umbrella is a hit! Whenever it rains, she begs to go outside with her umbrella

Shawn had a little bit of break in September, so of course we packed up our house, but also tried to go on a couple adventures. This is one of our favorite parks to go on a walk. It is so pretty and peaceful.

We are going to miss the Please Touch Museum in Philadelphia. Kanyin loves this place. It is huge! So many fun things to do

Alice in Wonderland maze exhibit.  I lose Kanyin in this maze every time. 

Kanyin and I went to I-hop the morning of my birthday. Shawn was on a scout trip. Kanyin loves birthdays sooooo much. While we were sitting in I-hop she would yell "Happy Birthday Mom" approximately every 5 minutes. Just a little embarrassing. 

I had an awesome birthday! With my crazy diet, Shawn made me a gluten/sugar free brownies. It was one of the closest thing to sweets I have had in a long time, so they tasted sooo good! My visiting teachers also brought me the best sugar free/gluten free cookies. I was spoiled! 

Shawn and I got to go to a fancy Italian restaurant that night. So fancy and fun. We even had olives imported from Italy.
